"Wow, Beautiful!"
We did not have to travel for this adventure! We had an “at home snow day.” I know that most of you reading this experienced the very same thing, but I wanted to share with you through Tommy’s eyes!
As we woke up to this snow-white coverage, Heath pulled back Tommy’s curtains to show him and he dramatically said, “Wow, Beautiful, Snow!” To say he got up instantly and ran outside would be a complete lie!! LOL This kid takes his time and rarely does anything before breakfast and today was no different! It has been a little while since we had snow and it was nothing like today, so it took him a little time to “try it.” By that I mean, take a step, extend his hand etc. I made a heart shape with my footprints and then he got comfortable!
We came in for a brief warm up time since I have been battling Bronchitis and Tommy is beginning to show signs of a sore throat again, I just can’t seem to keep him well… All of the sudden, he comes back in the living room with his tennis shoes instead of his crocs and grabbing his jacket and we were out again! This time he was not moving slow or being uneasy; he made footprints all over the yard. I am not sure if this was the Abominable Snowman, a T-Rex in the snow or a Sasquatch!! LOL Enjoy
Whatever your adventures were on this unusual snow day, I hope that it brought you joy! Even if you sat in front of the fireplace and viewed it through the window.
This day we got to enjoy more of God’s artwork!
