Hi.

Looking forward to connecting with you. The reader, mother or father, the traveler. Hope I learn a lot along the way through our travels that inspires or help guide you in yours.

The Morning After Party… not really:(

Re-cooping time. Saturday after the NTS Event was kind of a hard day for Tommy. He had several outburst and frustrating moments. I believe just the over stimulation and fun from the night before, which I did expect! By Sunday he was pretty much back to normal thankfully! It’s tough to recover from a “night out!!” LOL

Not much to really speak of -

happening in Tommy’s world right now. He has determined that the third week of every month is a no school week. Not sure if this is because Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays sometimes fall on this week. But in January when we put up his new wall calendar, I put stickers on the days of family members birthdays and marked some “Freedom” trips and other vacations that we have planned. By that evening he had gone through and marked each month with his “no school” week. LOL

Whatever the reason, I just decided to pick my battles and honor his time off!

We have some major adventures upcoming. March will be another cruise on the Carnival Dream. This picture was from our previous trip in 2019. Look at little Tommy! He has changed so much in the last six years! April will be a family beach wedding, looking forward to our stay at Holiday KOA in Galveston. And May camping at FIMFO Resort with a possible river trip! So we are resting before our adventures!

Chicken Progress –

The chicks are growing like crazy. They look like little T-Rex’s. Losing their fur and gaining their feathers. I have them pretty spoiled! They get pretty loud if I don’t stop and take the time to hand feed them at night for a little while. They still eat from their feeders, but they anticipate the extra special treatment! Tommy is still checking on them in the evenings when we are home. Making sure to tell them hello and then apologize if he scares them!! LOL

I did also catch him trying to give them some disco entertainment… I heard them going a little crazy and looked to see Tommy with the spotlight just flashing it all around the brooder – LOL He did tell them, “Sorry Chickens!” and he was off to his room😊

As we progress, I am hoping that Tommy will keep his interest in the chickens and want to help take care of them and collect eggs! I do know that he LOVES Tractor Supply so we can count on him for that involvement! That will probably be a blog all on its own when the new Vidor store opens!

Happy March everyone!! This year is already flying by.

- God Bless
