First Plans

Here we are planning our first trip.  How exciting, but I’m also a little nervous about the RV site.  Are the reviews and photos up to date?  And if not, will there be another spot in the area that we will be able to get into?  Just random thoughts, God is in control and I know it will all work out as it should.

We are headed to Palestine, Texas.  Our plans are to attend Trail to Christ Cowboy Church on Sunday morning in Jacksonville, Texas.  This is a 10 year anniversary celebration of my cousin being pastor.  Learn more at www.trailtochristcowboychurch.org

Rodeo

Saturday, prior will be their T2C rodeo finals.  I am excited to see how Tommy will do watching the events.  He loves cows and horses (from a distance) and has done well at similar events when the South Texas State Fair has come to our area.  It should be a fun time and believe me, you will be the first to hear!

Leaving out on Friday July 12 we will take our time setting up and relaxing.  We don’t want to feel rushed or exhausted on our first time out.

RV Park

www.walnutpondrvpark.com is our planned destination, staying for two nights.  I have two weeks to prepare.  Stay tuned for Tommy’s adventure stories.  There may be a thing or two on the park as well.  The kind of information that you won’t see on their website!
