Guessing Game?

When their sick

Why do our children have to get sick? We aspire to keep them healthy, especially kids like Tommy!

We may fight with them to eat,

We may fight with them to not eat too much,

We may fight to get them to keep their shirt and socks on when there is a draft,

We may fight to get them to wear their jackets when its cold outside.

And yet, after all this war… they still get sick!

Taking a nap during the day is unheard of!

This is my current situation. Trying to guess whats wrong. Watching the body language. Staring at his every movement to see if it provides any insights as to whats causing him pain and discomfort or just a reason for feeling yucky:(

As an autistic child’s caregiver we wear several hats. Nurse and detective being the two(2) most common when they are sick. I am so thankful that God knows and can guide my mind to figure it all out. Someday I believe that I may hear, “Mom, why did you act so crazy and ask me all those questions when I was sick?” Won’t those be precious words!

I saw this saying and thought it fit most of us with these puzzle piece kids!

If you can trust a puzzle company to make sure every piece is in the box to complete the puzzle, Why can’t you trust God that every piece of your life is there for a reason.

Gods timing is not our timing and I know that I will never understand it all, but I know He has a plan and I have the faith that it will come full circle for us and Tommy as well as you and your family.
